And so we say au revoir (for now) to our virtual visit to Paris. I hope you've discovered some wonderful art, romance and outdoor cafés in your own town, and brought a touch of la vie française home. Although I don't often post photos of myself on this blog, I had to include this fave, above. The scarf, the book, the locale, and that perfect moment during a family trip when my then-toddler niece Kelly and I gleefully plotted where we would wander to next. It captures so much of what I love about travel ... style ... life ... and Paris.

the compositions are strong. the photos are made easily, using two spotlight and a simple background only, just like the lookbooks they used to shoot, but the poses are unique enough to define them as campaigns.

Look at me: Posh points the way to her new tattoo, seen on the inside of her wrist as she launched her denim line at Saks department store in Boston last night
A sleek-looking Victoria struck a series of poses at the meet and greet for fans, and took the opportunity to fully expose the new tattoo as she pointed at the logo for her DVB denim range.
Posh arrived in Boston on Tuesday with the rest of the Spice Girls to continue their world tour, amid reports that their big reunion tour has run out of steam.

all focus! the bright stars in couture and photograph, the most phoenomenal projects of the year, they are going to gather around in this annual fashion festival.
the judges are also huge, including Dries Van Noten, Olivier Lalanne from VogueHommes, Sally Singer, Steven Klein, Emmeline de Mooij & Anne de Vries. ASOVFF & Jean-Paul Lespagnard, the judges also exsisted last year, will still join in this competition.

the bag is just my favorite, easy but strong shape, simple tailored and big volume. best thing of all, you can totally use it to match most of daily wear style. the tetrahedron shape is like chinese rice dumpling which we eat while the Dragon Boat Festival (falling on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month).

Jing Zhang hails from China but she has just (or is going to) wrap up her studies in fashion design in the UK. Her site presents an interesting insight into fashion illustration, as it has examples of her illustrations as well as her hands-on fashion projects.
