BAJUNI BEACHY

In last week's Fabric Friday post we discussed home fabric morphed into haute couture fashion. This week we take the opposite route. At the Kiwayu Safari Village hotel off the coast of Kenya, local Bajuni textiles traditionally used for clothing instead become pillows for the lounge area. Despite the kaleidoscopic colors I find this combination incredibly restful--and so different from the typical flavors of beach decor.
