While shopping for a decorating client, I discovered my salesman extraordinaire has another life as what I thought of as a couture milliner ... until he described it so much more poetically as a sculptor of felt. Tino Fonzarelli's timeless-with-an-edge styles have graced runways and celebrity heads, including Charlize Theron, Naomi Watts and Marilyn Manson. Formerly of Los Angeles, he now runs his business from Philadelphia. We're working on a behind-the-scenes peek at his studio and newest collection, but I simply couldn't wait to post this shot, the perfect addition to our fall fashion mix. Those lush and fiery feathers against that tactile wool felt and silky veiling ... a standout on its own yet a chic complement to the entire look ... and simply stunning.
