in case you know, i will post what's my favorite in London, Milan and Paris fashion week very soon.
but here's a little guide line, telling you what i've noticed.
****************
as always not untill the last moment, you don't really have a certain idea what trend would be in in the season.
thanks Dior, Louis Vuitton and Dries van Noten, here we go 1950's in this fall, which featured knees below A-line dress. i know some people are getting sick of skinny jeans and standing in a cold night but wearing very short pants, now you got choises.

though it's 1950's, but i suggest find your inspiration from" Gone with the Wind", or " Roman Holiday". that helps you know more what fit you well.
along with the 50's look is pleated skirt, makes your booties move in a more elegant way, and i love the flow it makes, so beautiful.

and the velvet, god, i have to say i hate it! more than half the velvet dresses look cheap, though this material is expansive and if you wear it well, it makes you look more elegant.
but the truth is people usually can't design a well outfit with velvet, in fact, they often destroy those dresses. so if you dare dress velvet on, better think twice and make sure that dress fit you well.

and here's the trend started from 2008, but not many people fallowed. belt over outfits would be the most easy way to show how slim you are even in heaviest suit. actually i think it's a tip not exactly a trend, but many collection focus on it, so, there you go.

i've post this yesterday.
it's not a cap, i'm sorry, it's a false-sleeves coat. jackets will be designed with different sleeve style and wearing look this fall, pick your way and make it out loud.

sorry i can't find any pieces like this from previous season
****************
next is leopard print, i'm huge against with this, but i do know some people are crazy about it, so... let you know a lot of leopard print will excist this fall. watch out.
via google search
****************
the last so far is plaid, i've noticed a lot of fashion house using plaid to make cohesion between gothic look and melitary look, that's to say plaid would fit anything well.

and the color of the season are:

anything might change, because only Anna Wintour could choose what's going to be in trend. = .=Source URL: http://thesoap-box.blogspot.com/2010/03/trend-in-fall-winter-20102011.html
